My grandmother Catherine, and my grandfather Angus on my dad’s side and my mother, hail from Cape Breton. I was born in Boston in 1942. I was wondering what the background is for the song, Catherine’s Wedding Song. I am right now listening to the CD Fiddle Music 101 that my wife bought me at the Gaelic college in Cape Breton, and enjoy it greatly.
